OUR HISTORY
Berks Ridge Company was founded by Richard Kirkpatrick in1982 after establishing himself as a prominent builder of quality custom homes. With strong roots in Christian values, Richard combined the highest quality construction with the cultivation of meaningful relationships with owners, subcontractors, and suppliers alike. His vision for creating a culture of respect, integrity and quality produced a multitude of satisfied clients, and an organization filled with loyal employees.
Berks Ridge made an early segway into commercial construction management when one of Richard’s fulfilled residential clients asked him to manage the construction of a large retail development. Since then, Berks Ridge has become one of the most respected construction management firms in Southeast Pennsylvania and has managed commercial, industrial and institutional projects throughout the tri-state area and its periphery.
Today, the founder’s vision and values are carried on by his sons, Kris Kirkpatrick and Scot Kirkpatrick and their longtime partner, James Davis. Together, they bring 90 years of construction management experience to Berks Ridge, each having begun their careers in construction at a young age. Their uncompromising commitment to customer service, high quality, and competitive pricing continues to produce extremely satisfied clients, many of whom are repeat clients. And their dedication to maintaining the same culture of respect, integrity and team work has further developed a family of loyal employees, many of which have remained with the company for decades.
